THERE'S LOTS GOING ON!!!!!

A variety of eggs and meats are available for purchase in the refridgerator/freezer on the front porch - just leave the money in the jar.

 

The cocks are with the hens and the eggs are fertile so we have plugged in the incubators. This year one is solar powered.

The Chicks are hatching!!!!!

We are currently hatching -Ameraucanas - Wheaten, Blue Wheaten, Blue, Silver, Brown Red

                                      Australorps

                                      Cornish - Dark

                                      Hybrid Egg Layers  - whte and brown colored eggs

                                      Hillbilly hybrid meat chickens - our own cross

                                      Sumatra

                             

Later in the season we expect to hatch - Rio Grande Turkey

                                                         Guinea Fowl - lavender, pearl

                                                         Ducks - Khaki Campbell, Pekin, Muscovy, Crested, Hillbilly meat cross

                                                         Geese -  Chinese, Hillbilly meat cross

Chicks may be purchased and/or picked up from Jesse and Linda at Fountain Mesa Feed, 408 Fountain Mesa Rd., Fountain, CO  80817    (719) 382-7691.   They will also assist you with all your supplies. Please respect our desire to maintain strict biosecurity standards at the farm.                    

CSA Crop Shares

Meat chickens, Layers, Ducks, and Geese - from $25.00 - $50.00.

Rio Grande Turkey  - 3 left - $75.00 each.

Pigs -  About $3.00 per pound.
